To calm ones self down. One may be told to 'settle their kettle' when over reacting, getting excited, or being a douche bag.

Girlfriend: "You totally just eye fucked that bitch!!"

Boyfriend: "Set the Ket"

"Can we please settle the kettle? I really want to eat now". Or He just settled the kettle. We do not need to work on it anymore.
