Rainbow Dash is a main character from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. She is surprisingly tomboyish, doesn't care about how she looks. She is incredibly fast, and capable of pulling of a Sonic Rainboom, which requires a pegasus to accelerate to hypersonic speed. NOT to mention the Rainboom itself is a deadly shock wave.
However, she is not without her character flaws, she has a temper that may cause her to try and attack an antagonist who was being a jerk. Can be insensitive and arrogant. Even though the arrogance was down a notch after The Mysterious Mare Do Well, she still does have some. Not to mention she is quite brash.
But despite that, she never leaves her friends hanging, and cannot abandon them for her own heart's desire.

The most amazingly tomboyish yet surprisingly girly pony in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic TV show. She is sky blue with a long rainbow mane and tail. Her cutie mark is a cloud with a rainbow colored lightning bolt coming out of it.

Rainbow Dash is a character from My Little Pony- Friendship is MAGIC. She is a Pegasus (has wings). She is one of the main characters from My Little Pony- Friendship is MAGIC. She absolutely LOVES to fly, and especially win! A lot of times she is a show-off, and can be very boastful. If there is anyone more awesome than her, she'll be very jealous. However, her element is loyalty, she will stand up for her friends no matter what it costs her. If she had a choice of achieving your dream and helping your friends, she will never leave her friends hanging. Rainbow Dash lives in Cloudsdale, but spends most of her time in Ponyville with her friends. She is the only pony who can perform the SONIC RAINBOOM with her awesome flying skills. She is a light blue earth pony with a pink, orange, yellow, and green mane and a pink, blue, and purple tail. She features a cutie mark of a rainbow stretching between two clouds. In 2009, during My Little Pony's "Generation 3.5" mass redesign, she was shown with a large ponytail in her mane.
Rainbow Dash is described as stylish and fashionable. My Little Pony calls her "The Glamour Girl of Ponyville." She is a kindhearted pony and is very interested in fashion and she also has a tendency to use say the word 'Darling' very often.
Note: Nothing is wrong here. I am aware that as of 2010 she was redesigned as an athletic pony. It isn't right, however, that all the definitions of her leave out this chunk of history, so I wanted there to be a definition on THIS Rainbow Dash as well. Though a lot of people will be tempted to downvote this because it's a side of the character you don't like, It's important that this be defined as well.
