Minh-Quan (Minh Quân in Vietnamese) is often a Vietnamese malename. "Minh" refers to lucidity, intelligence, and agility. In addition, it also has the meaning of uprightness, clarity, and excellence. "Quan" here refers to the leader, who can lead and direct others and is of course an intelligent and visionary person.
In Sino-Vietnamese, "Minh Quân" is also used to refer to a wise, righteus king.
