A calculation to estimate the power of a beer drinker. Determined by the following formula:
(Strength of beer in ABV / 5) * number of 12 ounce beers consumed
This gives a accurate calculation of the true beer consumption power of a drinker expressed in number of standard strength (5% ABV) beers.
Similar to the slugging percentage calculation in baseball, where a players total bases are divided by his at bats to estimate the power of a hitter.

Originally coined by basketball commentators, used to refer to a smart, and conventional move or decision made by a player, usually leading to a good outcome, such as a basket or foul on the opposing side.
When used in everyday speaking, it carries much the same meaning, and is usually used to point out whether or not a decision made was smart and paid off, or stupid and useless.

A seriously mishandled percentage, generally referring to a set of percentages that exceed 100%. Usually the total sum is then alluded to being 140%. Also used to sarcastically cast doubt on a statement of 100%, insinuating that the actual percentage is lower (100 out of a 140, for example)
