The name given to a technical exercise (also known as 'rudiments') performed on a drum... by a drummer, consisting of an alternating pattern using both left and right hands. There are many types of Paradiddle, for example: (R= right hand L= left hand)

Paradiddle is one of the most basic rudiments used both on a kit and a snare drum. Although simple it can be adapted and added to to become a really cool bit of drumming...Often used in an organisation called drum corps...
