Northport is a relatively wealthy village in the Huntington township located on the north shore of Long Island. The generally agreed upon characterization of Northport is that it mostly doesn't suck, because due to a number of highly industrious marijuana dealers, there is a healthy supply of purple, king and afghan kush. Also grapefruit haze was here last year, that was good. Every so often cocaine comes to town and that becomes a thing. Coke epidemics have sometimes started on the basis of someone coming back from college with an O and moving it around town. But mostly the drug of choice is weed, and among the more dedicated stoners, acid.

Generally, Northport is an expensive place to live, with housing prices being driven up on the basis that we only have 35 black people, and when a new one arrives everyone is quick to notice and take down their plates. Mostly, the people here live without too much worry about the helter skelter race wars, though some of the smarter ones do.

In the 30's, Antoine de Saint-Exupery lived in a house by Wyatt, and in 1950-ish Jack Kerouac got drunk in a bar in Northport. Then in 1984, Ricky Kasso cut a kid's eyes out and then choked him to death with gravel. To this day people are stilled wowed in the poon about that. He is recognized for his popularization of the drugs LSD and mescaline, as well as making it less gay to listen to Judas Priest.

During the year, there is little meaningful activity to do in Northport. During the day one can fish, swim or windsurf, but at night if you're under 21 and can't get politely inebriated at the Wine Bar or the Yacht Club, your time is best spent getting beligerently inebriated and breaking mailboxes or playing the choking game. Those who live dangerously might venture out into neighboring East-Northport, which is actually south of Northport, but calling themselves South-Northport would just make the people that live there feel like even more of a marginalized and lower class subdivision of Northport, so for the sake of their mental health, town planners made a concerted decision to rely on its slightly eastward positioning, rather than its more obvious southward positioning, when choosing the name.

Northport High School is a central aspect of Northport life, being made up of a large population of over achievers, a few genuinely intelligent people, and an overall air of superiority that makes us 100% sure we can beat you up, though we only really have a 40:60 chance that's in your favor. Our students tend to win Intel Prizes etc. with the intellectual atmosphere being dominated by IB students who think they're really intelligent, but they mostly just work extremely hard so they can end up in a research position at a university where they will be unhappy, while people who do less work and get a business management degree from Hofstra will do marginally better for themselves and be much more satisfied with their family/sex lives.
I just bought a house in Northport, because, I figure, with the relatively small Negro population, aggressively strong strains of Haze, and nationally ranked school system, my children can get into Binghamton and do decently for themselves.

1.
A town on the north shore of long island. Home to a lovely park, dock, high school, and a lot of inherently racist white people who often band together to stop any possible encroachment by minority families. The high school is somewhat, but not overwhelmingly comprised of very small tiny boys with shaved heads dressed as street gang members (despite having parents who are private practioners or CPAs and beautiful homes), alternative rock listeners who wear fuzzy old flannel shirts, band/orchestra members who make everyone angry, and a plethora of other students all of whom don't trust eachother since the town itself was built on mistrust, prejudice and greed. Many large, large houses, many of which are on the water, can be seen throughout town as well as a large number of PTA moms (milfs aplenty) who hang out with other PTA moms and act obnoxious or cruel to other PTA moms and use their daughters in high school to spite the daughters of the moms that they don't like.

Also home to the amazing Northport deli.
Wow, Northport is such an incredibly nice and safe place to live... and yet, Northport is a glaring example of exactly what's wrong with the world we live in.

There is alot more to this little town, if you live here you know alot of it. Northport high school, or better known as north'pot' high school is a pertty unique high school with the best art program in ny state, and the "commons." Beautiful harbor and village, still has trolley cart tracks on main street. A million lil dinners and sea worthy resteraunts. People either love it and move back there to raise a family or hate it and wish to burn it to the ground. Stickers on street signs and pot holes galore! go get a half and half with a lmberjack and then u can call urself a northporter...but u have to write on the big foam cup if u want to think ur cool. and anyone who thinks e-npt is better than npt prbably lives in enpt and is jealous. Over priced houses and underpaid teachers. Its great in the summer time if u have a boat. No matter how many people say they hate living in a small town or that its boring id bet money that over half of them deep down probably likes it.
The marching band won the hofstra band competition every year for like 10 years so they changed it to just a band "show" cuz the other schools are mad that northport marching band is awesome.

A town in Florida with 75% seniors. The kids think they're hardcore as shit. Maily populated with Blacks, Wannabe Hardcore Scene Kids, & Toothless Rednecks. May occasionally see a naked midget running through town.
Atleast it's not as lame as North Port!

Beautiful village in Long Island New York part of the greater Huntington Township.

Safe , Friendly place to raise a family. Good Schools , Nice Homes.
Yes expensive, & reguardless of what ignorant children say, there are drugs in every town- i grew up in Northport myself.

When Children grow up & Actually Pay there own bills & pay real taxes(property taxes) & have "seen the world"
they will surely think differently of the quiet little town they think is "racist" or Snobby".
Northport is a beautiful place - yes Unique - But No Different then many other towns & villages in this wonderful Country.
& Remember - When you are young- you think you are the center of the Universe. ... Sigh....

Other Definitions of Northport though Entertaining ..I must Admit - Are Unrealistic & Immature.
Northport New York -A Beautiful Village ,Thats Like a Movie set all year round . Like having your own Secret Paradise.
The Only Crime in " Northport " is from the local misguided/ Bored youth who think they are so different & special .
You know - blown up mail boxes , broken windows, etc. Yes , the 2 crackheads of the town undoubtdly break into some cars & steal a GPS to get $20 bucks .
There always caught eventually- & you will always find out who they are...
Northports village newspaper "the Observer" - has a " No Holes Barred" approach to reporting Crime..
If you get pulled over by the Northport Police - You Will Be In The Local Newspaper & Locally Embarressed . This helps keep a lid on the crime too. Residents all know this & are much more careful these days... maybe its a good thing.(until you're in there yourself lol)
