A word used when you get proved wrong. Also when somebody takes a bad photo of you when you're not looking.

the mode

the sudden rush of rage that causes a man to suddenly burst into a violent rampage and start beating the shit out of the nearest person only for a few seconds until he calms down. usually caused by unexpected pain or embarrassment. usually followed by a bro or buddy asking for his season 2-6 DVD collection of scrubs back.

Matt- *sneaks up behind him and slaps him really hard*
Andrew- *stands up violently and punches Matt in the face, knocking him to the floor*
Matt- "Dude what the fuck was that for i just slapped you!?"
Andrew- "sorry dude i couldn't control myself, you put me in the mode"
Matt- "fuck you dude... dick move"

Will Mode

A mix of complaining and arguing at the same time. Usually gets triggered very easily.

I made a simple suggestion to change the plan for tonight and my friend went all will mode and complained for 20 minutes about how we never stick to the plan.

Having high expectations and ending up with disappointingly low results. A dissatisfying outcome after some serious bragging.

You walk into your bosses office thinking you're about to be promoted for a job, and then find out you're actually being demoted, which leaves you walking away feeling oh so moded.

A moment in time where you look incredibly out of place. You can also BE moded, LOOK moded, say MODED things, and um... use moded to fill in any adjective, and it will actually make sense.

Sharleen: ALLISON! LOOK AT YOU! YOU ARE MODED!
Allison: STFU HOE, YOU MODED.
Patrick: Hah. You are all moded for calling each other moded.

Moded

Very similiar to Nelson from the Simpson's "Ha, Ha!"

*Note*This term was also used in the mid-1970's in South Central Los Angeles, California.

When someone is showing off trying to do a bike or skateboard trick, fails, and munches the sidewalk, an unimpressed onlooker may sneer, "Moded!!"
