Commonly used by girls to say to other girls or guys whom they are close to and miss, but don’t want to come off too strong by saying “I miss you” so saying I miss your face is in a lighter context but holds just as much underlying meaning.
Girl with big crush but doesn’t want to be creepy: oh yeah haha! I miss your face we should hang out soon!
