Laziness. To end a task without beginning it. To leave way in advance of the end of a work day. To act in a jonesingly manner.
John Doe: Hey I'm leaving out the door.
Jerry Doe: But it's only 1 p.m.?
John Doe: Yeah, I'm jonesin it today.

Used in two senses. There is the aforementioned definition of jonesin for drugs but also another definition which is synonomous with chillin.
Hence jonesin is used as a verb in these two ways:
1."Spencer is jonesin for some pot."
2.What are you doing? "Sarah and I are just jonesin right now."
1."Spencer is jonesin for some pot."
2.What are you doing? "Sarah and I are just jonesin right now."
