The term for coins that are too small to be useful but you always end up with them if you run around with cash. e.g. Pennies, nickels, and dimes. Quarters are for laundry and vending machines, but the lower denominations are jingleberries.

After hours in the cold, slushy blizzard, I had jingleberries clinging to the ends of my hair and beard, so I ate one jingleberry at a time in order to rehydrate.
