A character on the hit TV drama Lost. "Sawyer" for short, is the bad ass on the island, the tough guy. He makes many attempts to be the leader and have everyone look up to him. He took the name "Sawyer" from the man who killed his father. This character is played by Josh Holloway.
James Sawyer(to Hurley): I've got enough food now to open a chain of mini-marts. Hey, you think Sayid needs a job?
