introphobe

A person who is prejudiced against introverts and introverted activities.

Introphobes usually maintain negative and misunderstood viewpoints towards solitary activities and individuals that lead solitary lifestyles. Thus, they contribute to largely negative stereotypes towards introverts and the negative connotations associated with these stereotypes.

Introphobia should be understood as being akin to racism, sexism or other marginalizing classifications.

Rob and Bob are acquaintances. Bob likes to read, play his guitar and play online first person shooters. Rob likes to go to the bar, drink Martinis and cheat on his girlfriend. Rob thinks Bob's life is boring and "stupid". Rob thinks Bob is probably depressed and a wiener. Rob makes fun of Bob.

In reality, Bob loves every day he is alive. Bob takes great pleasure in the small things. Bob doesn't need 100 friends to feel fulfilled or a new girl every night to feel successful. Bob knows that one real friend is better than 100 fake ones. Bob knows that one love is all the love you need.

Rob's assumptions about Bob are not based on facts or evidence, but on ignorance and fear. Rob is an introphobe.

Rob is also a dink.

Introphobia

Introphobia ɪntrəʊfəʊbiə is the irrational fear of leaving a message on an answering machine due to the possibility of ending up on the intro of a (most commonly Rap or Hip-Hop) album.

THOT called me last night but I couldn't answer so it went to voicemail. I'd tell her to leave a message but she has introphobia.

introphoned

1. Putting on your audio headphones or earbuds without music playing in order to give the message to the people around you that you don't want to be disturbed;

2. introphoning: The same action as #1, to invoke the cognitive reflex of concentration resulting from years of having headphones on to play music during periods of focused work.

1. People kept coming to my cube to talk, so I got introphoned so maybe they'd get the hint I'm busy.

2. After a couple of hours the music gets distracting, so she turns it off and goes introphoning.

Introperv

An Introperv is someone who looks at women and has mild to wildly perverted thoughts while never expressing them. The Introperv may even stay indoors and look at women in chat rooms, or cam models while only lurking in the background and never saying very much if anything at all. - Introperv -
