Horanghae’s well known as it’s made firstly by SEVENTEEN Hoshi. It came from two words that are Korean word for tiger (horangi; shortened as “ho” ) and Korean word for ‘I Iove you’ (saranghae; shortened as “ranghae” ). Not only that, the “ho” in horanghae also means as his name itself, Hoshi. By that case, the whole member in SEVENTEEN also made look-alike “love word” such as Wooahae, Hanniehae, Doahae, and so on.
This happened during latest SEVENTEEN Online Concert “Power of Love” in 2021

Horanghae is made by seventeen’s member, hoshi or as know as kwon soonyoung.he (hoshi) usually says that to carat’s and more.it’s known as “i tiger you” which familiar as i love you in korea (saranghae).recently bts member j hope used “horanghae” as his instagram caption and army started to claim that j hope is the one who created the word horanghae.it’s not a problem to use the word, even a lot of kpop idol used that.but army’s made a false information, even face shamed some of the seventeen’s member.

(Horanghae) is a word used by its glorious
creator SEVENTEEN's performance team leader
Hoshi. It's a combination of two Korean words
saranghae (I love you) and horangi (a tiger) so in
English it would mean"I tiger you" but people oftendecide not to translate it. It was created to show love for his fans not leaving out the obsession he also has for tigers. The word is often used with a hand gesture to show his imaginary tiger claws. Horanghae also has inspired Hoshi to add it in the middle of his cover of 10cm. He has also made two originals that includes the word. The word tiger
probably means more to him than love so if you
hear him say horanghae he means it. Take it as a
compliment. The first horanghae paw ever made was in a picture of him when he was a child.

Horanghae is created by the one and only, Hoshi, a member of the kpop group called, SEVENTEEN. "Horang" is from the word "Horangi" means tiger in korean. Horanghae means, "i tiger you" but it's carat and hoshi's love language. The other members also created their own word to say to carats other than "i love you". Seventeen is a unique group and self- produce group. Members have their own ways to say i love you.

Horanghae (호랑해) is a term made by Hoshi, a member of the K-Pop boy group SEVENTEEN (세븐틴). Firstly explained from his FanCafe post in June 13, 2019, Horanghae is short for Hoshi + Saranghae (I Love You) in Korean, thus making it Horanghae. Hoshi is well known for his massive love for tigers, so he always used this term while making the tiger claw hand gesture.
