Ce smiley somme toutes banale est couramment associé à une "communauté" qui se revendique "hapiste".

Le nom du smiley viens du code qu'il est nécessaire de saisir dans son message sur le forum pour faire apparaître le dit smiley: " :hap: ".
Il existe sur le même modèle le smiley noel.
