Both people in the frienlationship have agreed that you're perfect for each other and wish that you can somehow make a relationship out of what you already have laid groundwork for.
guy 1: Hey man, whats up with you and that chick from Pennsylvania? You're constantly on the phone with her.
guy 2: i don't know man, we've got ourselves tied up in a frienlationship. I'm thinking about breaking up with the old lady for her.
