Ecosabatoge refers to civil acts of disobedience against a government or group of authority for the purpose of protecting and/or supporting an environmental issue or body of humans or animals. Ecosabatoge is different from the concept for eco-terrorism in that it involves acts that are not declared to be illegal by a nation's government such as arsonry, bombing, etc.
Example of Ecosabatoge: A group might assemble on public property to protest the burning of a forest for the purposes of development.
