The introduction of faulty logic with implied assertions. The assertions are false and not directly claimed but are derived from the claim. Often used by those in power seeking to disunite revolts and protests. Often applied in online discussion to otherwise legitimate arguments both to spam the discussion with nonsense and to emotionally engage the posters who are otherwise having an intelligent discussion.
Poster1: The government has been arming the police for centuries, why don't you guys stop thinking everyone is after you? (The assertions here are that government has been doing the best job possible and that you are mentally ill for thinking otherwise)

Poster2: Disinfo agent detected, we can have private police with better results and less power trips.
