A term referring to poor management and paying no attention to your customers. The term is particularly true when referring to online games where the name first got its meaning.

Pete: I just tried logging into this game and it said my account doesn't exist.
Paul: Sounds like you've been Chedburnt.

Pete: I've had it with this site, every time I log in it freezes.

Paul: Sounds like they've employed the Chedburn method.
