stands for Carrd Before You Follow. most commonly used on twitter, but you might see it on other social media platforms too. a carrd is just a website that includes information about someone, like what to expect on their account, who they don't want to interact with, and other things. when someone has this in their bio, it's just a reminder/encouragement to read through their carrd before deciding to follow them :)
