Haggling in an effort to purchase an item for a lower value than the advertised price, despite the fact that the item is already significantly below market value. This type of practice typically occurs at car-boot-sales, and can be rather embarrassing.
Buyer - "how much for that classic Ming Vase"
Seller - "£1"
Buyer - "Oh, really, is it? Hmmm...I'll give you 98p"
Seller - "Fuck off"
Buyer - "I'm sorry. I suffer from Car Boot Syndrome. I don't mean to be a twat"
