Friends that own or are employed by separate businesses but support each other's initiatives and successes. They often work on similar initiatives that they have in common.

you notice you're a business friend with someone (particularly in college and in a career), that this person, while friendly and nice, uses you for nothing more than answers to an exam, quiz, or to slack work off to you in times of need. They're nice people though, but they just have a material use for you.
Mallory (online): hey can I get those answers for that quiz in our HDF class?
Andrew (online): sure!
