A term used to refer to a person who needs to explain themselves or calm down. Has its roots in bro, a term used to informally indicate a person generally thought of as a dude or guy.

Alternately, a bro-oriented term of endearment.

Notes for usage:

* May only be used when speaking directly to the intended brotaco. It is incorrect to say, "So-and-so is a brotaco."

* No articles may precede the term. Nobody is ever "a brotaco." They are merely "brotaco."
1) Whoa there, brotaco, you'd better ease up on the old gas pedal, there.
2) You're right about that one, brotaco.
