This is a slang term used. It is bro and dude mixed together into one word...brewd.

Pete: Yo brewd, where is my shirt?

Sam: I don't know, probably in the washer brewd.

n. The highest form of bromance conceived when two bros stumble tiredly out of a dance and one slurs the words dude and bro together.

broo-ding That act of brooding while drinking beer or other alcohol.

Matt was pissed off last night, and wanted to go out. Instead he sat on the couch brewding.
