When you've finished a book and you suddenly return to the real world, but the real world feels incomplete or surreal because you're still living in the world of the book.

Getting so emotionally invested in a book that you think about it for days on end. Characterized by sadness experienced when the book is over and the realization that one will never have the opportunity to feel the way they did reading it for the first time.
When you stay up all night reading and go to bed at 2 am in the morning and when you wake you relize your back to reality and your faced with the fact that your a. not in the book world b.you finished the book and you dont know what to do with your life c. you are overly exsaused and still have to cope with daily things or d. you have to get back to your boring life after you have lived an exsiting one. To help cure you might need a quiet room to think or some fanfiction to read.

The headache you get after staying up into the wee hours of the morning staring at teeny tiny print. Generally an ailment experienced exclusively by book nerds, but becomes a nation wide issue after the release of a new Harry Potter book.
Guy 1: Man, I stayed up all night reading the Deathly Hallows! I have such a book hangover!
Guy 2: You nerd.
Guy 2 then pushes his copy of the Deathly Hallows deeper into his book bag and longingly eyes the aspirin bottle guy 1 has just opened.
