The good ol’ days now. 2000-2009. Some people still lump in the 2000s with the 2010s which is really annoying. No, Party Rock Anthem did not come out in the 2000s!! The early 2010s are not the 2000s. Donald Trump was just some rich TV personality, “fake news” wasn’t in people’s daily vocabulary, a snowflake was a thing that fell from the sky, and Facebook was only a site to connect with friends and nothing more. 2000s kid

A child that had at least half of his childhood in the 2000s. Generally, these kids are in 8th grade or above right now, and they grew up with a PS2, PS3, Xbox, Xbox 360, GameCube, Wii, DS, or PSP. They also remember old YouTube and all the songs like 009 Sound System.

If they can live without their phones, they are a 2000s kid.

The era before everything else that was the peak of humanity. Even though it was covered in toxic people and somewhat lazy and creepy media, it was way more creative than these newer decades.
