A small, rich, white town in Westchester that is about 65% jewish, 20% wasp, 14% catholic, and 1% other. Larchmont is not as preppy as Bronxville, Rye, Scarsdale ext, but is often taken to be. It is also known for being next to the Long Island Sound, and is very pretty. There are very good public schools. About 85% of the dads there are lawyers.

Larchmont (or as it is commonly known by "l-mont") is a town outside of NYC. Its highschool in its mothering town of Mamaroneck, is #1 in the state for underage drinking and #2 in the country. filled with insanely rich families, typical pta moms, wallstreet dads, flashy cars, along with physically flawless preppy kids with an insatiable hunger for drama, Larchmont can very well be regarded as New York's own Laguna Beach.

a weathly town on in westchester NY north of the city it is smaller then the towns around it but it is equaly as wealthy. you can tell it is because of the houses on the water that go for no less then 3 million and its large amount of beach clubs yacht clubs ext... the kids usually DO NOT flaut there wealth as the kids in other towns do. also they like to concider themselfs ghetto because of the fact that some of the kids from new rochelle go to the schools there but i personally think the big screen TVs in hallways that genraly are not used for anything and the amount of coach bags seen in the ''hood'' as they like to call it give it away. the kids for the most part and dont have to buy an ivy leauge education even though most of them could.
average larchmont kid: drives parents hummer, lives in a mansion on the water or in a mansion on a golf club, wears polo shirts everyday, trys to act ghetto but fails, is a good student and there father is a lawyer
