Townie (SK)

A person or individual who usually resides around or lingers in a town or city centre. Parasite of malls, these people can often be seen with long flowing fringes obscuring the eyes, band t-shirts, and skinny jeans. Often the individual is completely unaware that they fulfill the definition of a Townie. They will deny it in their ignorance. The brackets "(SK)" indicate another popular name for a townie, a Scene Kid.

The term "Townie", can be applied in many ways. Possibly a direct statement, nickname or words describing the individual.

For example: Hey Townie!, Harry "Townie" Colovic, That guy is such a townie. etc.

The word Townie is also interchangeable with Scene Kid (hence Townie (SK)).
