Yeh nor is used to describe something that has happened which somebody didn't want to happen. It is used as the last part of a sentence, usually preceded by a swear word, to emphasise the thing that has occurred is bad.
Alastair wanted to go away with the lads to benidorm. His wife put her foot down and said he couldn't go, fucking yeh nor.

A hyphenated word of Germanic etymology. It is a play on the popular paint stripping liquid “Nitro mors”. It is an adjective that describes an incredibly annoying person, typically used towards very drunk individuals. From “Nitro” meaning very very and “Nors” meaning embarrassingly face punchingly annoying.
I saw my brother yesterday at a village fete; he had obviously been drinking alcohol since breakfast - he wasn’t just talking embarrassing gibberish and annoying everyone within a half mile radius - he was being a total Nitro-Nors.
