A person who is probably white, upper middle class, and goes to college and gets decent grades, more so for their study habits and ability to passively memorize and regurgitate than any actual intelligence. Views those less “successful” than them with contempt and those more so with jealousy. Watches whatever TV shows are mainstream and popular at the moment while avoiding anything too violent, offensive, or thoughtful. They have a “safe” sense of humor and probably find South Park extremely offensive but may think Family Guy is clever. Too “cultured” to listen to rap or pop music but afraid of metal, so they listen to indie rock, yet do not have the knowledge of indie rock that a hipster does. May play a few mainstream, popular video games but do not have the knowledge or skill to be considered a gamer or a nerd. A male normie may be a casual fan of sports but lacks the passion of what many would call a jock. Normies may smoke and/or drink occasionally but by no means can be considered the “life of the party”. Normies avoid expressing potentially controversial political or religious opinions and may not have any opinions at all. Painfully mediocre in every way, lacking in what many would say constitutes a personality, and devoid of hobbies or passion for anything aside from doing what they are supposed to do.

Normal, typical people with no esoteric knowledge of anything i.e. people that have to look up what "normie" means on Urban Dictionary because they legitimately don't understand it. They probably even used Google to find out what it means because they're that much of a normie/basic bitch.
Normies are people that find out about the latest internet memes via KnowYourMeme, Twitter, Facebook, iFunny, 9Gag, Buzzfeed, Tumblr, Behind the Meme, and mainstream YouTube channels instead of the actual source of its origin. Also people that use "meme generators". Note: Some memes are made by normies, for normies.

Tend to consume something popular, because others are doing it, to be like others.
A person, who's been living their whole life mostly within the boundaries of "social rails", the working middle class, typically spoiled by relative early financial and social safety (not pauper parents, not bullied much past elementary school - basic infantile stuff, has not been influenced much by any peer sadists or criminals).
In most cases they are ignorant , not independent thinkers, so they tend to accept whatever view is the least controversial or exposing and the majority is thinking or promoting, that requires the least thought from them, they don't apply the rules of science (they don't scrutinize morality, themselves, don't question everything).
Normies=Tribal people, morality is defined by their tribe or they can find a tribe that aligns with theirs. Super-tribe contains general alignments between different groups of normies. Abuse (which is both sadistic & psychopathic) is also a probing tool used to check if a person is part of any tribe and if current tribe's members reactions are aligned (alignment of in-group biases/morals); while people that are abused often are either marginalized non-tribals or marginalized tribes - not part of a supertribe.
