Opposite of a sweet nothing a bitter everything is an aggressive or fast compliment or form of flattery that is more straightforward and usually said in a louder tone.
"Your too kind." (Said in a normal voice ) Is a bitter everything example. Its opposite " your very kind." (Said in a soft tone ) is a sweet nothin.
