The act of operating a vehicle that does not surround you with some level of protection. On most "Uncaged" vehicles, wearing a helmet is advised along with other protective gear.

There are some people who just love taking risks for the adrenaline factor and they ride all those "uncaged" vehicles. Why would they leave themselves so vulnerable?
