Gag is a noun that originated in Peoria, IL. It means that something is funny and is always used as so: "____ (is) a gag" or most commonly, "You a gag bruh." "You a gag bruh" is mainly used as meaning one is funny, but can also be used sarcastically when someone is disappointed with someone.
(Common version) John told Allen how he accidentally called his girlfriend the wrong name. Allen laughed and said, "You a gag bruh".
(Disappointed/sarcastic version): John lost the money he was suppose to bring to Allen. When John tells Allen his over exaggerated sob story of how he lost the money, Allen angrily says, "You a fuckin gag bruh!"

A joke, especially one that defies any logic or already established rules in the media it takes place in. These can standalone comedic moments (e.g. someone unexplainably using lazer vision, only for them to never use it again), single appearance characters (e.g. Arale Norimaki annihilating Vegeta out of nowhere despite his godly training in Dragon Ball Super), or be permanently applied to main characters (e.g. Saitama being completely overpowered compared to everyone else for seemingly no reason in One Punch Man). Also, see "gag character."
