The act of completely being fixated on your smart phone/device in a public place, esp. when you sitting with at least one other person.

Look around at any restaurant or bar. There's always one table full of people who are all completely engrossed in their smart phones. When you see your date/spouse/significant other checking a social network on their phones as they sit at a table/bar with you, tell them to "stop droning". I have told the people I am sitting with (at lunch) that I'm "checking out" and am going to drone for a while.

An Individual who lacks self expression, self worth, and follows the herd driven through the main stream media outlet. A drone must work for a corporation or some form of the government, they always believe in the collective and are an anti-individualist! A total government mule and are always on one side of the right left paradigm.

Drone

Slang term referring to the drug Mephedrone, currently experiencing an explosion of popularity in the UK.

Commonly found as a white powder/crystalline substance, it produces similar effects to Ecsasy or Cocaine when snorted/ingested. Gained an extremely large userbase in the United Kindom in 2009/10 due to it's legality, cheap price and relative purity.

Speaking in a slow monotone, especially on a highbrow or difficult to understand topic, in a mind-numbingly boring manner; akin to a lullaby droning puts listeners into a deep slumber in places where sleeping is inappropriate.
