You're probably unaware of this because you don't read the dictionary but before the definition was "Being flippant (defined as not showing a serious or respectful attitude) regarding serious issues." Meaning "Not taking serious things seriously." The NEW definition if "Fluent (the ability to express oneself easily and articulately) but insincere and shallow."
