Many people do not know that the current Skyline is sold as the G35 in America, and under the Skyline monaker in Japan. It is not Based on the old BNR platform, such as the R32, R33, and R34, but instead under the FM platform, the same platform as the 350Z, or Fairlady Z as it is known in Japan. Also the prototype GT-R is not a skyline, nor is it related to the Skyline. If produced, it will be one tier up of the 350Z. Just wanted to clear that up.
If you want a new skyline, go buy an Infiniti g35.
Otherwise, spend upwards of 30 thousand dollars importing and legalizing an r32. Ive seen R34s going for upwards of 70 grand with importation and legalization fees.

A great Japanese car which has been around since 1957
Many models have been made including
single cam, twin cam ,single turbo , twin turbo models.and in AWD ad RWD.
Each car from the the R31 has the bullet proof RB engine which
is used worldwide by tuners due to it being hard wearing and capable of great BHP limits.
The Skyline are hated by Muscle car fans whom only compare there huge cc cars to these cars as they know that there engines had to be tuned down due to agreements in Japan.
When the engine is released the smaller engines can produce the same or more power that there huge cc engines produce.
This often upsets Muscle car fans and they become very childish.And always pick a small handful of cars which are usually really old to put up against these cars,But forgetting that many are that old there Muscle engines would be running so slow stock due to age wear.
The Skyline range is a great car and has proven itself worldwide on the track and off,soit does not matter what is said bad about these cars its only a personal opinion as true facts are facts on these great cars and there abilities.

skylines are great jap cars
you can not compare them to musle cars because they are completly diffrent. the R32 Gtrs were perpouse built spec race cars witch followed on with the r33 and r34 models witch are all factory limited dew two jap emmission laws. the r34 skylines won 50 gt500 races consectivly untill they were kicked out of the jap compition. The R32 dominated the aussie v8 supercars and were dubed (The Godzilla). after 3 years they were also kicked out of this compatition. Also skylines cost about 10 times less then any other musle car an thats alot of money to do bolt on mods a rb25det is good for up to a max of 500rwhp been proven to get around 590rwhp befor sumthing broke and that was after over 200 dyno runs and sum mega burnouts the moter had factory internals and. rb30dets can run 750rwhp with stock internals. google R.I.P.S there a New Zealand company they make factory rb rb30det engines and on there first run down the strip are garrented 9sec 1/4mile. All custom fabrication to suit any need.

A japanese car that resmebles a line in the sky. Car company that manifactures this xiaomobile is probably from japan. Has been known to transport people from point A to point B. Contains up to or more than 3 gears. Capable of outrunning a pink s2000, a yellow supra, and a red rx7. Must be a middle aged undercover white cop that "lives life a 1/4 mile at a time" to purchase. Usually comes from the factory with four wheels. Unbelievable carry capacity for bright neons. Comes in a variety of color including: blue. what can i say? its a fast car when you hit teh NAWWWWWWWZZ

THE most over rated car ever. It comes stock with 276 horse power and people claim that it is a 'Supercar.' If not for Gran Turismo 3, and 2Fast 2Furious, people wouldn’t know what the fuck it was. A perfect example of Mainstream America embracing the Japanese and worshipping their works of 'art.' Much like the Supra, people think the Skyline will eat anything. That is BS. If you want to spend huge amounts of money, and make it have 8798 horsepower, fine. I can do the same with a Yugo. But stock for stock, the Skyline isn’t that fast. It’s that simple.
