Elgin 

Small obscure rural town located near South Carolina's capital city of Columbia punctuated by random single-wide trailer homes. The one grocery store is like a gross-you-out food oddity museum for out-of-towners, stocked full with delicious redneck delights such as pork brains, pork snouts, pork tongues, fatback and chitlins in family sized packs. The local social life revolves around the post office as everyone in town stops by for a postage stamp on a daily basis. The town is proud of its history and recently celebrated a centennial and purchased a pretty neat looking town clock. But if you drive through looking for anything historical, you'll be hard pressed to find more than a charming old shack or two.

Elgin 

The worst city in all of Texas. Where all the prostitutes go after a long days work. The "gangstas" here are as fake as Charlie Sheens sobriety. Nothing but wiggers who eventually will get shot in their cracker ass. For every high school girl goes into labor, another 4 get pregnant. The possibilities of getting shot in Elgin are 99.9% So don't come here while you still have a chance.

Elgin 

Elgin is a wonderful, diverse Illinois city about 1 hr from downtown Chicago. It has a beautiful river, tons of fantastic restaurants, and attractions. It is a safe community to raise a family. The town is extremely diverse, vibrant, and full of art. Elgin is a fantastic place to live. Homes in Elgin range from millions of dollars to over 150k. Elgin has a fantastic police department and transportation system. It’s ranked one of the safest and best places to live in Illinois.

is only really known for it's burnt down cathedral and the private school (in the next town) which Prince Charles attended.
