Awesome game that's kind of like a 2D-Minecraft but isn't.
Play it, play Minecraft, and you will never see daylight again.
Guy 1: Hey man, have you done anything in Minecraft lately?
Guy 2: Hell no, I've been playing a kick-ass game called Terraria.

Terraria is a 2d side-scrolling game with features similar to minecraft. Terraria includes randomly generated worlds, as well as Bosses . Unlike minecraft, Terraria takes more of a Fantasy tale turn by allowing potions, forms of magic, powerful swords, and abilities. The game is a "build-it-yourself" story line allowing you to make whatever you like from a broad range of craftable items.

The game includes stunning graphics, multiplayer, pvp settings as well as teams on servers.

Terraria was inspired by minecraft, and is not a copy.

If you need a cheaper substitute to minecraft, Terraria is your second option!

An indie (independent) game made by Re-Logic and can currently can be bought on Steam for 9.99$US. Despite it's lack of reality, it's the second-best game next to Minecraft. With over one million copies sold, this game is the bomb! I love it so much! For people who think Terraria's a rip-off of Minecraft, you're very wrong. Terraria is actually based off the game, and does Minecraft have mana, chainsaws, hammers, goblin invasions, meteorites, and useful NPC's? NO. Terraria is highly addictive and it'll be your 2# next to Minecraft! :D
Jo: Hey, what'cha playing?
Me: Terraria.
Jo: That game's a rip-off of Minecraft, it's graphics suck.
Me: Your a rip-off, and Terraria has really cool mobs and weapons. As much as I love Minecraft, I love it as much as Terraria.
Jo: Sounds interesting, can I play?
Me: Sure.

*5 hours later

Me: Ok, can I play now?
Jo: No, I'm beating the dungeon boss!

Terraria is a fun 2D game that will keep you hooked for hours. Terraria is claimed to be a copy of Minecraft, however, the only similarities between the two are building and monster killing. There is a ton of content including bosses, weapons, equipment, classes, NPCs, and more.

On March 16th, 2020, Terraria Journey's End (1.4) was released. Journey's end is the final major content update of Terraria.

A 2D sidescroller game made by Re-Logic. A fun and pretty addicting game that's concept is similar to Minecraft. Some people say that Terraria is just a copy of Minecraft, but the only thing that's basically the same is the building and the monsters.

Some angry 10 year old Minecraft fanboy is probably reading this and is like " OMG TERRARIA IS JUST A RIPOFF OF MINECRAFT!!!!11" And the truth is that it really isn't. While the graphics isn't the best, there is way more content. 20 main bosses, 3 of which are Old-gen and 3DS exclusives. 14 event bosses, 4000+ items, and much much more.

Terraria has 4 classes you can play with, Melee, Ranged, Mage, and Summoner. You utilize swords as Melee, guns, bows, even different types of arrows and bullets for Ranged, spell tomes, staffs, even prisms for Mage, and minions that can be imps, or can be a giant dragon. Terraria also has different armors for different classes, and accessories that buff you or just make your life easier.

And before you say "Minecraft has mods and Terraria doesn't", It does. Terraria runs mods on something called TModLoader, and as of update 1.4, it has become the free dlc of Terraria. One of the most popular mods, The Calamity Mod, added 25 new bosses, 12 mini bosses, and nearly 2000 new items. If you want a cheaper alternative to Minecraft, Terraria is your best option.
I mean, at least Terraria isn't just you destroying your mouse when the dragon swoops down.
Minecraft Fanboy: XD Terraria is just 2D Minecraft XD LOL HAHA
Any sane person that has played Terraria for at least 30 minutes and did his research on Terraria: Ugh, shut up. Terraria is in development way before Minecraft did.
Minecraft Fanboy: OMG SHUT UP NERD STUPID I WILL CALL MY DAD TO BAN YOU MY DAD IS MICROSOFT LOL XD HAHAHA BYE BYE IDOIT NOOB XD LOL
