taking certain drugs causes you to be this. when you are high you start out feeling great and chilin. then you start really "feelin it". everything makes you laugh you hear things differently and are confused. Sometimes someting near you looks like its huge. it is very hard to focus also. You also start tripin out. Being high is one of the best feeling there is and everyone reacts differently.

When you start feeling light-headed, and silly(everythings seems funny and you want to hug something) This can occur from some drugs and fumes. Also, I got high once from blood loss after a massive nose-bleed.

A high can be achieved from many different drugs/substances or activities (sleep deprivation). It is a state in which your thoughts, behavior, physical and mental feelings are altered. Technically being drunk is being "high on alcohol.
