A person that unnecessarily uses big words in order to try to seem better than others.
Ex. "You must lack deductive reasoning, since you are unable to prove me wrong. Be quiet miscreant!"

A walking thesaurus is a person with good vocabulary who knows many definitions of words. A thesaurus is a book that lists words in groups of synonyms and related concepts which is usually called a dictionary, hence the word walking refers to the human being.
Person 1: I know what odd means, I did English home language at school.
Person 2: Just because you did English home language, that doesn't mean you're a walking thesaurus.
