The thing or person that inspires you to go to the gym when you don't particularly feel like going but know you should.

Typical gymspiration for women - not wanting to look fat like xyz or say, wanting a body like the latest Britney Spears or Lady Gaga video.

Gerard Butler might be gymspiration for guys, to go to the gym rather than the pub.

The feeling a tea enthusiast gets when he or she needs a cup of tea but there's only cheap supermarket dust in the cupboard. You drink it anyway.

Despite not having his favourite tea at the office, John went for a vending machine tea out of pure gasperation.
