When someone who just recently knew about the band Muse OR when someone just liked the band Muse

Dude #1: "Wow, I never realized that Muse is a really cool band."

Dude #2: "Haha dude, you've got the 'Muse Effect'."

Muse Effect

When the bass guitarist is cooler than the main singer (usually acoustic guitarist). In Muse's case: Chris Wolstenholme is cooler than Matt Bellamy.

"Damn that band has the Muse Effect going on!"
