Hextet

IPv6 version of an Octet. A hextet is the unofficial name for each of the 8 blocks in an IPv6 network address.

IPv4 has 4 Octets, whereas IPv6 has 8 hextets. 2001:48a8:0000:0000:1234:0001:1234:0003
