A Reuschebag is someone who picks up overtime, against the directive of his own union, when his employer had laid off fellow co-workers.
An airline furloughs pilots, and the pilots' union directs its membership to refrain from working extra. An individual who ignores this directive in order to make more money at the expense of his furloughed co-workers is a greedy Reuschebag.
