1. A single blurted expletive for many situations similar in use to "fuck". Originated from an AIM misspelling of "damn it".

2. The name of a fictitious pagan god of vengeance.

"Daamnti! I fucking failed that test!"

"I hereby summon Daamnti, Lord of all Vengeance and Chaos!"
