1. A commercial band that is cliche in all boundaries of music from lame music videos, pop chord progressions, and over-used or stolen lyrics. (Also Creedle Back)
2. Combination of Nickelback and Creed used to describe bands in the Cheesedick Rock genre.

Bobby: Roadskid, turn off the radio, I hate these Nickel Breeds.
Roadskid: But this is the new Yellow Card song.
Bobby: Oh really? I thought it was All-American Rejects, My Chemical Romance, Good Charlotte, Blink 182...

A name for most/all generic modern rock on the radio. Characterized by raspy vocals, forgettable guitar riffs, and big, catchy choruses.

Change the channel, some Theory of a nickelcreed just came on.
