This is how you spell the sound you make when you suck teeth. Not the quick, dental tsk, but rather the long, drawn out, soggy version in the back of the mouth, usually accompanied by a neck snap or a head twirl.

Known as stiups in the West Indies.

This spelling originated in A. B. Davis Middle School in Mount Vernon, New York in 1982.
