Someone who optimistically misjudges how much time any given task will take, often to their detriment.

I had 30 minutes to get ready and get to work, but it took me 45 minutes to get there. I’m too much of a chronoptomist and never give myself enough time for tasks!

Chronolistically my friends think I’m full of it but, this has happened over a period of time and not necessarily all at once or chronologically. There is no logic to it; I just have dumb friends, chronolistically speaking.
