First, Marc Hall is a gay icon. Second, Marc Hall is an incredible person. In 2002, he fought to take his boyfriend to prom but the Durham Catholic School board would not let him. He ended up going to court and was able to take his boyfriend to prom in the end. A few years later, they make a movie based on him called "Prom Queen: The Marc Hall Story". Years later, Colleen Dauncey and Akiva Romer-Segal decided to write songs for a stage adaptation of this story, which was Prom Queen. In 2019, they got together again for a new stage adaptation of this story in Calgary, Alberta at Theatre Calgary. It ended up being called The Louder We Get, starring Evan Kinnane as Marc Hall. The person writing this did get a chance to see the show in Calgary and it was amazing and also got the chance to meet the real Marc Hall. So yeah, Marc Hall is a pretty incredible guy.

Boomer Bronson is sometimes a cool guy. He is clearly in love with Carly Montevera even though he may seem like he likes other girls and that he is a player but really he is- or was a nice guy. He used to go by Barney Bronson. He wore glasses and a bowtie. He changed due to popularity but he changes back due to the fact that Carly missed the old him. Portrayed by Kolton Stewert in both Prom Queen: The Musical when it was at the Segal Center and Theatre Calgary's production of The Louder we Get

Carly Montevera is the best person ever. She is Marc Hall's best friend in The Louder we Get and Prom Queen. Despite saying she doesn't need a guy, she is clearly in love with Boomer Bronson. She is kind, a badass, and honestly amazing. I love her that's for sure. She is portrayed by Sydney Scotia in Prom Queen: The Musical at the Segal Centre in Montreal in 2016 and Katie McMillan in Theatre Calgary's production of The Louder We Get.
