A 34 year-old American professional basketball player of the NBA. He spent 11 seasons with Cleveland Cavaliers, 4 seasons with the Miami Heat, and one season (so far) with the Los Angles Lakers. His accomplishments include four NBA Most Valuable Player Awards, three NBA Finals MVP Awards, and two Olympic gold medals. LeBron has appeared in fifteen NBA All-Star Games and been named NBA All-Star MVP three times. He won the 2008 NBA scoring title, is the all-time NBA playoffs scoring leader, and is fourth in all-time career points scored. He has been voted onto the All-NBA First Team twelve times and the All-Defensive First Team five times. He was born in the city of Akron, Ohio and raised by his mother. His father was not in their lives due to his extensive criminal record. He started playing organized basketball in the fifth grade, and would go to St. Vincent-St. Mary High School to continue playing basketball. After high school, he would be go straight into the NBA draft and be selected with the first overall pick by the Cleveland Cavaliers. During his NBA career he would average 27.2 points, 7.4 rebounds, 7.2 assists, and would play 1195 games having a 50.4 field goal percentage. He is considered as one of the best players in the league, as well as one of the greatest of all time.
