Is a basketball player who has the ability to sell sneakers and other marketed products to fans of the player and the game. The Dunkadelic Mega-Star is also a player who's admired and respected by the Hip-Hop culture.He is also refered to as a Newjack Jock. The original Dunkadelic Mega-Star was Julius " Dr.J " Erving of the 70's and 80's.
Allen Iverson, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Michael Jordan, Kevin Garnett,Amare Stoudemire, Tracy McGrady, and Shaquille O'Neal are Dunkadelic Mega-Stars of Basketball. LeBron is basketballs' ultimate Dunkadelic Mega-Star since the retirement of Michael Jordan.

Dunkadelic Phat 5 of College Basketball

The Phat 5 had a team in the National Championship game during the entire 1990's from 1990-1999. All of the Phat 5 programs had atleast 1 appearance. They won 6 of the 10 National titles.

* UNLV won by the largest margin ever in NCAA Championship history ( 30 ). They are also the only team to score more than 100 points in a Champioship game. Duke got revenge against UNLV the next year in the 1991 semi-final and went on to win the 1991 NCAA Championship. They won it again in 1992 being the first team to repeat as National Champion since the 1972 and 73 UCLA Bruins.
The Phat 5 run during the 90's was simply that Phat, it may never happen again. Now that's Dunkadelic!!!!!

Is a basketball slang term used to describe a team that wins the chance in a draft lottery to select a marquee college or high school star player. The recruiting of a high school star player to a major college program.
Cleveland hit the $100 million dollar Dunkadelic Jackpot in the 2003 NBA draft and selected LeBron James with the #1 overall pick. Chicago won 6 NBA titles after hitting the Dunkadelic Jackpot in 1984 with the selection of Michael Jordan.

Dunkadelic Phat 5 of College Basketball

The Phat 5 have ( 5 ) of the 7 undefeated National Championship team seasons. ( 4 ) UCLA, 1964, 1967, 1972, and 1973. N. Carolina ( 1 ), 1957. The other 2, U. San Francisco, 1956 and Indiana 1976. There hasn't been a undefeated team since Indiana in 76 and that was the year that the ( dunk ) was allowed back into the game of college basketball. The dunk was bamnned from college basketball from 1967-76. This was the same period that the ABA ( American Basketball Association ) was in existance.The ABA was the home to Dr.J and David Thompson the 2 most explosive dunkers of the era. Thompson and N.C. State beat UCLA in the 1974 National Semi-Final 80-77 in 2OT.
The Phat 5 have the Division 1 All- Time winning streak of 88 ( 1971-74 ) games ( UCLA ),and home court winning streak of 129 ( 1943-55 )games,( Kentucky ). Now that's Dunkadelic!!!!!
